EDC (External Development Charges)

Statutory charges paid to the state (or HSVP in Haryana) for external infrastructure — roads, water, sewage, electricity.

EDC funds the state's off-site infrastructure: arterial roads, sector water and sewage, HT power distribution. It is a per-sq.ft charge fixed by HSVP for each licensed sector in Haryana. EDC is often quoted separately from BSP and can add ₹300–₹900/sq.ft depending on sector and category.
